Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency room environment on night shifts
- Float between two emergency department campuses, including a Level I Trauma Center and a Level III facility
- Deliver care across a Med/Surg float pool capacity as needed within the ED setting
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients in alignment with facility protocols and trauma standards
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to assignment start
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license in good standing (no disciplinary actions), verified within the last 30 days
- Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room RN experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active TNCC certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- NIHSS certification required
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in a 500+ bed hospital setting
