Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM with Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Float to additional Emergency Department locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must be willing to float to sister Emergency Department locations in the area
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department
- Strong triage assessment and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with rotating weekend scheduling in a travel or contract setting
