    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department, Nights

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12s) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
    • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
    • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and adherence to department standards
    • Float to other units as needed to support facility staffing requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Experience working in a Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility environment
    • Willingness to float to other units as required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Charge Nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification (recommended but not required)
