    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

    Location

    Tucson, Arizona

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3x12s) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
    • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
    • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
    • Float to other units as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    • Willingness to float as required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Charge Nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification or familiarity
    • Experience in a Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, or STEMI Receiving facility
