    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Requirement | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting serving a patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric
    • Manage and assess patients presenting with diagnoses including respiratory conditions, chest pain, MI, STEMI, non-STEMI, stroke, and trauma-related injuries such as MVAs and fractures
    • Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 within a 40-bed unit with an average daily census of 30
    • Deliver safe, effective care to psychiatric patients within the ED, which may include up to 6 psychiatric patients at a given time
    • Float within scope to other areas of the facility as needed; travelers are expected to float first
    • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements including timely completion of onboarding documentation and required training modules
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
    • CPI certification required – the Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
    • Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility location (locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless explicitly stated)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for psychiatric patients in an emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with stroke center protocols and TPA administration
    • Experience with cardiac and surgical patient populations including CCL cases
