Travel RN – Emergency Department (Freestanding ED)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite | 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage, patient assessment, and reassessment in a freestanding emergency department setting
- Initiate IV access and perform laboratory draws, with required facility-specific lab training at each site
- Perform and interpret EKGs as part of routine emergency care
- Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 within a 12-bed emergency unit
- Float to additional emergency department locations as needed
- Adhere to established unit values, code of conduct, and dress code requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Proficiency with Expanse EMR
- Active ACLS certification
- Active BLS certification
- Active TNCC certification
- Active PALS, ENPC, and CPI/NCI certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- Experience working in a freestanding or high-acuity emergency department environment
