Contract | 13-Week Assignment with Possible Extension | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Some Weekends and Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4-recliner flex area within a Level III Trauma facility
- Perform triage assessments and initiate appropriate care plans for emergency patients
- Initiate and manage IV access and administer medications including conscious sedation
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and ventilator management
- Document patient care accurately using PICIS and Soarian Clinicals EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, and PALS
- Proficiency in ventilator management, IV insertion, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO), particularly around holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with PICIS and/or Soarian Clinicals EMR platforms
- Experience working in a Level III Trauma Emergency Department setting
