Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekends & Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4-recliner flex area at a Level III Trauma facility
- Perform triage, IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation support
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients as needed
- Document accurately using PICIS and Soarian Clinicals EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care across nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must be obtained prior to start; if pending, proof that the process is underway may be considered)
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO); flexibility around holidays is expected
- Candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility will not be considered; candidates residing 31–50 miles from the facility may be accepted at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PICIS and/or Soarian Clinicals EMR platforms
- Strong background in high-acuity trauma and emergency nursing environments
- Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling, including holidays and weekends
