Contract | Nights (19:00 - 07:30) | 36 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients in an emergency room setting
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care activities
- Meet and maintain established Standards of Nursing Practice
- Promote cooperation and effective communication among the health care team
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA or ARC; ENPC meets PALS requirement) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification or experience
