    Job Title

    Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER) | Night Shift

    Location

    Tallahassee, Florida

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 39-bed Emergency Department maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar puncture, laceration repair, and blood product administration
    • Assist with intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures as needed
    • Conduct 30-minute to 1-hour patient rounding and participate in bedside shift report
    • Accurately document patient care using the MediTech electronic documentation system
    • Collaborate with unit secretaries and 2–3 floor technicians to support efficient patient throughput
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
    • Proficiency with emergency equipment including crash carts, Level One infusers, Alaris pumps, and Dash bedside cardiac monitors
    • Strong multitasking and patient throughput skills with a team-oriented approach
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with MediTech documentation system
    • Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department setting
    • Familiarity with ER hold unit protocols and floating procedures
