Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Possible weekend coverage | Every other holiday per department rotation | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using Epic EHR
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certificate required
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certificate required
- Proficiency with Epic EHR
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Experience with high-acuity and trauma patient populations
- Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
