Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend and every other holiday per department rotation | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
- Document patient information and care accurately using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Respond to critical and rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical competency
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local contracts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Proficiency with Epic EHR
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills in an acute care environment
