    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Mids)

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift: 12:30 PM – 1:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
    • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
    • Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices and patient care priorities
    • Delegate patient care responsibilities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, providing direction and supervision as needed
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
    • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Georgia
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • At least 2 prior travel nursing assignments successfully completed
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
    • ESI Level 5 triage training required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
    • Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
