    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
    • Perform prompt triage and screening of patients upon arrival to assess severity of condition and determine appropriate course of treatment
    • Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to deliver timely and effective emergency care
    • Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment throughout the care episode
    • Support a high-volume department serving a significant number of patient visits annually
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
    • Active Vermont RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • Active American Heart Association BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • Active American Heart Association PALS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Minimum 3 months of prior travel nursing experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Emergency Department skills checklist completed within the past year
