Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oregon or compact equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Locals will not be considered for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level Emergency Department
- Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with union staffing environments
