    Travel RN – Emergency Department (Evenings)

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all age groups
    • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
    • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
    • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
    • Function within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act
    • Perform physical care duties including lifting, pushing, and transferring patients as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility, or minimum 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility; experience level must be indicated on resume
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • TNCC certification required
    • NIHSS certification required prior to start date (candidates may be submitted without but must obtain before starting)
    • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with trauma and pediatric emergency patients
    • High-acuity emergency department experience in a facility seeing 200+ patients per day
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
