Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Flex Team, Night Shift

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds
- Manage a diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
- Maintain a typical patient ratio of 1:6 while adapting to fluctuating census and acuity levels
- Demonstrate strong critical care skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience, post-orientation
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and unstable patients independently
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency or acute care setting
- Background in high-acuity or trauma emergency environments
- Comfort working with critically ill patients requiring ICU-level interventions
