Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arkansas or a compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Must maintain permanent residence at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency settings
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in emergent situations
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific workflows
