    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (12-Hour Days)

    Location

    Spokane, WA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Day Shifts | Every-other-weekend rotation | Holiday coverage as needed per unit

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department managing a diverse patient population including psych, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, stroke, and chest/abdominal pain cases
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, with potential for 1:5–6 with lower-acuity patients depending on assignment type
    • Perform and assist with RSI, conscious sedation, and management of lines, drains, and tubes
    • Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR (required)
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNA/ER techs, hospitalists, respiratory therapy, and mid-level providers available around the clock
    • Operate unit technology including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and bedside/centralized telemetry monitoring
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC (or ATCN), and NIHSS certifications required
    • Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Room experience in a Level 3 or higher trauma center (3–5 years preferred depending on assignment type)
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required for all RN candidates
    • Demonstrated competency with general ER skills including RSI, conscious sedation, and lines/drains/tubes
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center or Level 3 NICU-supporting facility
    • Familiarity with behavioral health patient management within an emergency setting
    • Experience with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • MOAB or CPI certification (may be obtained after start)
