Contract | 4x12-Hour Shifts | Days (7:00–19:00) | Every other weekend expected | Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment with an expected ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- May be expected to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location as needed
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation; module time is non-billable
- Maintain active, valid RN licensure and all required certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- No call-in shifts; on-call is not required for this position
- Must submit all time-off requests and specific scheduling needs upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered or granted
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and fast-paced emergency care environments
- Experience working within a large health system or multi-facility network
