    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a broad range of acuity levels
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians representing 38 medical specialties
    • Support cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery/spine center service lines as needed
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
    • Ensure all required certifications are current and on file prior to start date
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kentucky or a compact state
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • All required certifications must be obtained prior to start — client reserves the right to require additional certifications beyond those listed
    • Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume or Level II/III emergency department setting
    • Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and neurological patient care
    • Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into a new clinical environment
