Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Mid-Shift 12P–12A)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting within a 295-bed acute care facility
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians across 38 medical specialties to deliver timely and effective treatment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Support cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery service lines as needed within the ED environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Ability to complete facility orientation (held weekly on Mondays)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or emergency department setting
- Familiarity with cardiac care or neurosurgery support within an ED environment
- Experience working in a high-volume, multi-specialty emergency department
