Key Responsibilities
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Deliver emergency room nursing care in accordance with facility protocols and standards
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information
Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Participate in required orientation sessions prior to assignment start
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a trauma center environment
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome)
