Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
Perform triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the treating physician
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical findings in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or a compact license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients in an ED environment
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and ability to perform effectively under pressure
