    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 170–200 patients per day across 56+ beds, including a fast track area and dedicated holding beds
    • Manage a patient assignment at a ratio of 1:3 (1:4 for low-acuity), including ER holds awaiting inpatient bed placement
    • Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory, abdominal pain, and mental health presentations
    • Operate within a trauma center environment alongside ED physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and ED techs; TNCC certification required
    • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation; collaborate with respiratory therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and monitor techs as part of an integrated care team
    • Adhere to holiday coverage requirements; must be available to work holidays in November and December
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience in a larger trauma setting
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • No floating to other units required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume trauma center environment
    • Familiarity with triage workflows and triage testing protocols
    • Experience managing ER holds and inpatient boarding situations
    • Comfort working alongside a multidisciplinary team including ED techs, CNAs, respiratory therapists, and monitor techs
