Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
- Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
- Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period as part of the standard schedule
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient throughput, length of stay goals, and overall patient experience
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications including ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- PALS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma nursing experience
- Pediatric emergency care experience
- Experience with Cerner EHR
- Strong team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable work style
