Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR
- Administer and manage medications utilizing the Omnicell medication system
- Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within the scope of demonstrated and documented competencies
- Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on facility need
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, and TNCC
- Must live more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be fully eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible
- Candidates must complete pre-assignment testing and required modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with strong ER backgrounds may be considered
- Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
- Experience floating across multiple units or care settings
