    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department treating approximately 66 patients per day, with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Manage common diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, and behavioral health presentations; rare pediatric cases are treated and transferred
    • Administer and monitor common drips including insulin, cardiac, sedation, and other critical drips
    • Perform lab draws; collaborate with ED techs for EKGs, blood glucose monitoring, and patient monitoring using Philips telemetry systems
    • Participate in triage if experience is present; support fast-track triage flow through the lobby
    • Maintain required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with Emergency Room experience
    • Minimum one year of Emergency Department experience
    • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
    • Valid Driver's License required at time of submittal
    • Strong behavioral health experience required
    • Ability to float to other facilities within the regional network if needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience with at least 1–2 completed assignments preferred
    • Experience with triage in a high-volume Emergency Department
    • Familiarity with STEMI and comprehensive stroke center protocols
    • Willingness to serve in a charge nurse capacity if needed
