Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
- Perform triage, treatment, and discharge care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Utilize electronic health record systems, including recent EPIC experience required
- May be required to float to an additional facility location as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA or ARC certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA or ARC certification required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- NIHSS certification required
- Recent EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in a high-volume or Level II/III emergency department setting
