    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (1900–0730)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
    • Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical need
    • Administer treatment and interventions in accordance with emergency nursing standards and physician orders
    • Coordinate and execute discharge planning and patient education for ED patients
    • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the EPIC electronic health records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required
    • Minimum one year of acute care experience required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor required
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Recent EPIC electronic health records experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Prior experience in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department setting
