Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)
Location
San Antonio, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform and interpret EKGs, obtain labs, monitor vital signs, and conduct thorough patient assessments
- Administer and assist with respiratory therapy treatments, splinting, and wound care
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including EKG machines, VS machines, Parapac, and BiPAP devices
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float to a sister freestanding emergency department location as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of emergency room (ER) experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required

- Flexible scheduling availability
- Comfort and experience managing critical patients
- Outgoing, positive attitude with the ability to take initiative in a high-acuity environment
