Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity adult emergency department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on clinical presentation and urgency
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour mid shifts in a fast-paced emergency environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume adult emergency department
- TNCC or CEN certification preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in emergency care settings
