Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including both a Main ED and Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) locations
Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 while collaborating with a team that includes paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretaries
Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Epic electronic health records system
Float between the Main ED and FSED units as required per unit floating policy
Meet scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Required Qualifications
Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Current PALS certification
TNCC or ENPC certification
CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department with both adult and pediatric patients
Proficiency with Epic documentation system
Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
