Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department setting
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care plans as indicated to ensure optimal care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management
- Consult with other specialties as required to support comprehensive patient care
- Function as a proactive team member in a high-volume ED environment, demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure
Required Qualifications
- Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
- Proficiency with or demonstrated ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
- All credentialing must be submitted no later than five business days prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
