    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Contract, 13 Weeks)

    Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients
    • Perform and assist with unit procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, rapid infusion, and resuscitation
    • Provide behavioral health de-escalation support as needed
    • Document patient care accurately using MEDITECH EMR
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs across day and night shifts
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
    • Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
    • Current NIHSS certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
    • Background in trauma care and/or holding inpatient experience
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
    • Experience with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid Infusers, and Stryker stretchers
