Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1
- Deliver care to a diverse emergency department patient population, including behavioral health patients within a locked unit
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and thorough clinical documentation
- Adapt to workflow changes associated with an active department construction and expansion project
- Collaborate as part of a team-oriented unit requiring flexibility and strong communication skills
- Support stroke care protocols within a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department and/or Critical Care experience
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Current CPI and NIHSS certifications
- Completion of required facility education modules
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 to 5 years of combined Emergency Department and Critical Care experience
- Experience working with behavioral health patients in an emergency or inpatient setting
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
