Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute and critical conditions
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- TNCC certification (required)
- ACLS – American Heart Association (required)
- PALS – American Heart Association (required)
- NIHSS certification (required)
- De-escalation certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a regional or high-volume emergency department setting
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
