Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered care across all patient populations throughout the life cycle, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and older adults
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Delegate appropriate activities to other patient care providers and coordinate care across disciplines
- Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices within the assigned service area
- Promote and continuously improve practice standards and the environment of care through active participation and personal leadership
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Trauma Level I experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience required
- Experience with all patient populations required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with pediatric trauma care and Level II pediatric trauma center protocols
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced emergency settings
