    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87144!

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a full-service, combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center
    • Administer blood products and manage IV placement in a high-acuity environment
    • Operate specialized equipment including Belmont, Ranger, Panda warmer, and traction devices
    • Support Tele Neuro and Tele Psych patient populations as needed
    • Meet minimum weekend shift requirements of 4 shifts per schedule period, with potential for additional weekend shifts based on department need
    • Participate in required holiday coverage — must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & New Year's Day)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active or pending New Mexico RN license (may be pending at time of submission)
    • TNCC must be in hand at time of submission
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
    • Prior travel nursing experience required for ER placement
    • COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with appropriate documentation
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level II or higher Trauma Center environment
    • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
    • Experience with Tele Neuro, Tele Psych, or combined Adult/Pediatric emergency settings
    • Comfort with high-acuity equipment such as Belmont rapid infuser and Panda warmers
