Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend availability required | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 50-bed cardiac-monitored Emergency Department, including an 8-bed Rapid Treatment Area
- Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while performing typical ED clinical functions and procedures
- Operate GE cardiac monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, EDTs, and medics during the night shift
- Demonstrate flexibility and a positive, teamwork-oriented approach in a fast-paced ED environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Must be available to work weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Previous experience working within an HCA facility
