    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required during contract period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 54-bed Emergency Department serving neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations averaging approximately 120 visits per day
    • Support two locked Behavioral Health units within the ED at a 1:6 ratio, in collaboration with an on-site security team
    • Float within scope to two rapid evaluation units addressing urgent care and critical care needs as required by facility demands
    • Deliver care in alignment with Primary Stroke Center protocols, including 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education
    • Document patient care using Cerner with FirstNet and Launch
    • Wear navy blue scrubs per facility dress code requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; candidates with 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered
    • Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
    • ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
    • Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
    • Must be available for every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday coverage during the contract period
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred
    • Precepting and training experience preferred
    • Experience supporting behavioral health patient populations in an emergency setting
