Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department, including 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds
- Manage a high-volume environment averaging 120 patients per day across a census range of 100–140
- Deliver POD nursing care with assignments adjusted according to average daily census
- Support care at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 Stroke Center
- Provide care within a Chest Pain accredited unit and a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- TNS or TNCC certification
- NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma or Stroke Center environment
- Familiarity with POD nursing assignment models in high-volume emergency settings
