Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Puyallup, WA | Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory emergencies, and adult psychiatric presentations
Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access, medication administration including drips, and procedural sedation
Administer blood products and cardiac medications; TNK administration experience preferred
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic electronic health record system
Operate unit equipment including Alaris infusion pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and central/bedside telemetry monitoring
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
Recent Epic EMR experience required
Traveler Telemetry Competency exam must be completed and passed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with TNK (tenecteplase) administration in a stroke protocol setting
Background working in a high-volume, high-acuity ED environment with a significant geriatric and trauma population
Familiarity with procedural sedation protocols and cardiac medication management
Experience working alongside multidisciplinary support teams including pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and social work
