Travel RN – Emergency Room / Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | No on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department setting
- Perform full-service emergency department procedures and interventions across a varied patient population
- Operate as an independent, critical-thinking clinician with strong clinical and relational skills to support optimal patient care experiences
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Float to affiliated emergency department locations as needed
- Maintain expected staffing ratios during night shift (2 RNs, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a hospital setting
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS and/or ENPC certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) environment
- CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification
- Independent, autonomous, and adaptable personality with strong critical thinking skills
