    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

    Location

    Port Huron, MI | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
    • Apply nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice in all patient interactions
    • Provide care across a wide range of emergency presentations within a 35-treatment-room Emergency Department
    • Document patient information and care using the MediTech EMR system
    • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Specialists and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Michigan RN License
    • Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience (required)
    • ACLS Certification (required)
    • PALS Certification (required)
    • TNCC Certification (required)
    • Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with MediTech EMR
    • Familiarity with wound care and pain management protocols
    • Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department setting
