Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, non-trauma Emergency Room setting
- Manage patient assignments at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with high-acuity holds
- Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Navy Blue scrubs required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ventilator experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing high-acuity patient populations
- Familiarity with non-trauma emergency department workflows
