    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Midshift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Rapidly assess patients' conditions and assign Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage levels upon arrival
    • Provide immediate life-saving interventions and stabilize critical and trauma patients
    • Administer necessary medications and carry out physician-ordered treatments in accordance with established protocols
    • Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure timely and appropriate patient care
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff, providing direction and supervision as needed
    • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and adherence to the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
    • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and SAMA certifications (or equivalent)
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
    • Demonstrated critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills in an emergency care setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
    • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
