Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, including assessment, triage, and treatment of acute and critical conditions
- Manage patients presenting with symptoms of stroke, heart attack, seizures, severe injuries, burns, and other emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to facility dress code: Gray Scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN License
- Minimum 2+ years of RN Emergency Department experience (required)
- TNCC certification required (ENPC not accepted; documentation required)
- ACLS certification (required)
- BLS certification – American Heart Association (required)
- PALS certification – American Heart Association (required)
- Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems
- Experience in high-volume or academic medical center emergency departments
