Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within an acute care hospital setting
- Deliver nursing care in alignment with Magnet-recognized standards at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and patient charting
- Participate in weekend shifts as required by the facility
- Adhere to all facility dress code and compliance policies throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required — no exceptions
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, and NIHSS
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must have been separated from this facility for at least 1 year if previously employed there
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
- Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
