Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Document patient information and care activities accurately using EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Participate in required onboarding modules and orientation activities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN State License required and must be in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required and must be in-hand at time of application (MAB or Online CPI Blue certification not accepted)
- All required certifications must be in-hand at time of application
- EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history
- Two (2) supervisor references required at time of application
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Familiarity with UC Learning Center (UCLC) modules or similar onboarding platforms
- Experience working in high-acuity or high-volume emergency department environments
